Book Fairies? What are Book Fairies?

Book fairies are volunteers who spread books around the world. You can tell a book fairy by their book fairy bag (see photo) or by the green and white stickers on the books. Sometimes the hidden books include a little something extra.

Trouble With Parsnips is out with the book fairies!

On July 15th, 2021 the fairies will be sharing copies of Trouble With Parsnips in Austria, Spain, Luxembourg, Italy, and Switzerland. It’s so exciting!

You can follow the fairies on social media with #IndieBookFairies on Instagram or by following @the_bookfairies on Twitter. As you know, the nameless princess isn’t outspoken, so feel free to share any sightings far and wide.If you find a book, read it and pass it on.

I’d love to see your photos if you find a copy too! Look for the special signed postcards inside the books. 🙂

Book Fairies! What will they think of next?

P.S. See photos of the incognito Emma Watson of Harry Potter and Little Women fame in action here.

P.P.S. If you find a book sometime in the future, send or share a photo! I’d love to see how far the fairies travel.
